This seminar presents advanced artificial intelligence (AI) techniques for addressing challenging aerodynamic prediction problems, spanning from compression ramp flows with shock-wave/boundary-layer interactions to the complex geometries of golf balls. By leveraging deep learning methods, these studies demonstrate significant advancements in the prediction of complex flow fields with shock-wave/boundary-layer interactions, as well as the ability to train models on small, high-fidelity datasets. Additionally, they showcase the capability to learn aerodynamic characteristics of intricate three-dimensional geometries. These approaches provide new insights into flow physics and optimization, with potential applications in a wide range of aerodynamic systems.
報(bào)告人簡介:美國加州理工學(xué)院航天博士,香港理工大學(xué)航空及民航學(xué)系系主任,講座教授。同時(shí)兼任香港理工大學(xué)運(yùn)動(dòng)科技研究中心主任,香港理工大學(xué)無人自主系統(tǒng)研究中心主任,在高超空氣動(dòng)力學(xué)、智能流體等領(lǐng)域的國際頂尖或著名學(xué)術(shù)刊物上發(fā)表被SCI/EI所收錄的學(xué)術(shù)論文272篇,發(fā)表國際會(huì)議論文近100篇,出版書籍(合著者)3部及書籍章節(jié)(合著者)2章,成功取得14項(xiàng)國內(nèi)外專利,自2012年至今主持/參與國家級科研項(xiàng)目4項(xiàng)(NSFCM面上)、香港政府資助科研項(xiàng)目16項(xiàng)及其他科研項(xiàng)目總計(jì)約港幣22,000,000.00。現(xiàn)為美國機(jī)械工程師協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)士 (FASME),英國皇家航空學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士(FRAeS), 美國航空航天學(xué)會(huì)副高級會(huì)士 (Associate Fellow),香港工程師學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士(FHKIE), 兼任或曾兼任國際航空航天期刊 《AIAA Journal》, 《Shock Waves 》等期刊副主編。
