Talk Title: Dynamic Data Stream Mining with Scarcity of Labels

Abstract：Data stream mining is a natural and necessary progression from traditional data mining. However, it presents additional challenges to batch analysis: along with strict time and memory constraints, change is a major consideration. In a dynamic data stream, the underlying concepts may drift and change over time. The challenge of recognizing and reacting to change in a stream is compounded by the scarcity of labels problem. This talk presents our recent work to evaluate unsupervised learning as the basis for online classi?cation in dynamic data streams with a scarcity of labels. A novel stream clustering algorithm based on the collective behavior of ants, called Ant Colony Stream Clustering (ACSC), is present. Furthermore, a novel framework, Clustering and One class Classi?cation Ensemble Learning (COCEL), for classi?cation in dynamic streams with a scarcity of labels is described. The proposed framework can identify and react to change in a stream and hugely reduces the number of required labels. Finally, some conclusions will be made.
楊圣祥教授簡(jiǎn)介：1999年獲東北大學(xué)博士學(xué)位。1999-2012年，分別在英國(guó)倫敦國(guó)王學(xué)院，萊斯特大學(xué)和布魯內(nèi)爾大學(xué)工作。現(xiàn)任英國(guó)德蒙福特大學(xué)（De Montfort University）計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)與信息學(xué)院教授、計(jì)算智能研究中心主任和數(shù)字未來(lái)研究院創(chuàng)新人工智能研究組主任。楊教授長(zhǎng)期從事計(jì)算智能理論、方法及應(yīng)用研究，在計(jì)算智能方法、進(jìn)化計(jì)算求解動(dòng)態(tài)優(yōu)化和多目標(biāo)優(yōu)化問(wèn)題、智能網(wǎng)絡(luò)優(yōu)化和數(shù)據(jù)流分析等方面的研究做出了突出貢獻(xiàn)，其研究工作得到英國(guó)和歐盟研究基金會(huì)以及工業(yè)界的大力資助，先后承擔(dān)了30余項(xiàng)科研基金項(xiàng)目。出版英文專著1部，編著2部，編輯國(guó)際會(huì)議論文集10余部, 發(fā)表論文500多篇，其Google Scholar H-index為78，入選2019年-2024年美國(guó)斯坦福大學(xué)發(fā)布的“全球前2%頂尖科學(xué)家”榜單。楊教授應(yīng)邀擔(dān)任亞洲計(jì)算智能協(xié)會(huì)副主席，擔(dān)任10余種國(guó)際知名期刊副主編或編委，擔(dān)任國(guó)際大會(huì)程序委員會(huì)主席和分會(huì)主席60余次，應(yīng)邀做國(guó)際會(huì)議大會(huì)報(bào)告或?qū)ｎ}報(bào)告30余次，曾任IEEE計(jì)算智能協(xié)會(huì)動(dòng)態(tài)和不確定環(huán)境下的進(jìn)化計(jì)算專家組主席和智能網(wǎng)絡(luò)系統(tǒng)專家組創(chuàng)始主席。楊圣祥教授是國(guó)家高層次人才計(jì)劃入選者。
